In a shocking UK embezzlement case, a man has been sentenced to 33 months in prison for stealing more than £500,000 from his employer, converting the stolen funds into cryptocurrency, and using them on gambling sites.Jason Lowe, 39, hailing from Skipton in North Yorkshire, was employed by a Lancashire-based firm since 2016 but succumbed to a gambling addiction that led him down a path of employee theft between March 2023 and February 2024.
