Google’s AI push continues at speed. Following this week’s well-received release of Gemini 3, the company has rolled out a new version of its Nano Banana image generation and editing tool—quietly landing for some users inside Gemini Pro. Early feedback points to strong creative capabilities, higher-resolution output, and tighter control over visual consistency.

Built on Gemini 3, the updated tool is designed for practical content creation, from data-rich infographics to full slide decks. Google executives say it can work across up to 14 images or maintain consistency for as many as five recurring characters—features aimed at marketers, designers, and teams that need on-brand visuals across multiple assets.

The system reportedly supports 4K images and shows improved handling of text within dynamic scenes, a long-standing challenge for AI image generators. With initial access already appearing in Gemini Pro, the rollout suggests Google intends to integrate these image features directly into its broader AI workflow. Alphabet shares rose 3.7% today after touching a record high in the prior session, reflecting investor optimism around the company’s AI roadmap.
